We’re looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial Recruiting Manager with agency experience who thrives on building relationships, closing placements, and driving business growth. This is a full-desk, full-cycle recruiting role where you’ll own the process from developing new client relationships to identifying exceptional talent and closing successful placements.If you enjoy the business development side of recruiting just as much as finding the right candidate, this is an opportunity to grow your career in a specialized market with meaningful earning potential. What You’ll DoBuild your business: Identify prospective clients, develop new business relationships, and connect with founders, executives, and hiring leaders across the wellness and CPG industries.Own the full recruitment lifecycle: Manage searches from initial client outreach and job intake through sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and placement.Deliver exceptional talent: Source, engage, screen, and qualify candidates for retained and contingency searches.Build lasting relationships: Develop trusted partnerships with clients and candidates while delivering a high-quality recruiting experience.Drive placements and revenue: Manage your pipeline, maintain consistent follow-up, and work toward weekly and monthly performance goals.Manage the details: Maintain accurate ATS/CRM records, coordinate interviews, facilitate background checks and onboarding paperwork, and keep searches moving forward.Collaborate and grow: Contribute to a close-knit, entrepreneurial team where initiative, accountability, and results matter. What We’re Looking ForAt least 1 year of full-cycle agency recruiting experience with a regional or national staffing or recruiting firm.Demonstrated understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, candidate management, client communication, and business development.A self-starter mentality with the drive to build relationships, develop business, and close placements.Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple searches and competing priorities.Proficiency with ATS/CRM platforms, Microsoft Outlook, and AI productivity tools such as Claude.Genuine interest in wellness, nutraceuticals, supplements, and better-for-you CPG brands.A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field is preferred.Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend availability when business needs require it. Compensation & BenefitsTotal target comp of $130,000.00Uncapped commission with the opportunity to increase total earnings based on performanceFull benefits packageSan Diego-based or remote work arrangement Why Kalon Executive Search?
