About the Role

You will exercise a variety of strategies to recruit a high volume of talented and qualified substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support staff to work with ESS clients within Marion County Public Schools.

Responsibilities

  • Apply proven methods to identify, attract, and facilitate the hiring of qualified and diverse education professionals.
  • Attend and recruit at local community and university career fairs within the county (paid for by company).
  • Provide accurate and inspiring information to candidates about the company and available positions.
  • Create and foster relationships with colleagues and diverse professional organizations to attract a diverse group of candidates with a focus on college graduates and certified teachers.
  • Extend offers of employment to selected candidates.
  • Work cooperatively with all members of the team.
  • Complete special projects as needed.
  • Regular, in-person attendance is required.

  • Ability to develop professional relationships with candidates and team members.

  • Must interact well with others.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced and confident speaking in groups and meeting new people.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Physical requirements may vary by assignment and location and may include sitting, standing, walking, and regular use of hands and arms. Close vision may be required for computer and detail-oriented work. Work is typically performed in a moderate-noise environment, such as an office or school setting.
