About the role

We are partnering with a mission-driven local NYC nonprofit seeking a temporary Recruiter to join on a remote basis. The Temporary Recruiter will support the full-cycle recruitment process for corporate positions in a fast-paced, high-volume nonprofit environment. This role will independently manage most recruiting activities, from intake meetings with hiring managers through candidate screening, interview coordination, and candidate progression. The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, and experienced in managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while delivering an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for corporate positions, including intake meetings, resume screening, candidate phone screens, interview coordination, and hiring process management.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, define must-have and preferred qualifications, and develop candidate shortlists.
• Review applicants received through the applicant tracking system (UKG) and evaluate candidates against established selection criteria.
• Source talent from existing candidate pools, conduct initial candidate assessments, and guide qualified candidates through the recruitment process.
• Maintain recruiting trackers, reporting, and recruitment data through spreadsheets while managing corporate requisitions at a time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment independently, including screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring processes.
• Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably UKG, and maintaining recruiting reports and spreadsheets.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously; nonprofit sector experience is a plus.

Pay

Compensation: $28-30/hr. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.

Schedule

Fully remote position with standard working hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some schedule flexibility.
