About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Contract Recruiter to own niche technical hiring for Crusoe's Spark business. This is a specialist search role covering hard-to-fill manufacturing and engineering positions such as Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Project Management, Quality, and Supply Chain, along with adjacent technical roles as the business scales.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for niche technical requisitions across manufacturing, engineering, and operations functions supporting SparkBuild pipeline from scratch through market mapping, competitor and adjacent-industry research, and sustained passive outreach
  • Run intake sessions that pressure-test the role definition, must-have skills, and realistic candidate profile before a search kicks off
  • Screen for genuine technical depth, translating engineering and manufacturing backgrounds into a clear read on fit for the hiring manager
  • educate hiring managers on market size, realistic timelines, and comp expectations for scarce profiles, and reset the search when the data says to
  • Structure interview processes and role-appropriate technical assessments in partnership with hiring managers
  • Conduct candidate interviews, provide timely updates, and lead compensation negotiations
  • Manage a high-complexity req load independently with minimal oversight
  • Keep pipeline data, notes, and status current in the ATS so leadership can see progress without asking

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience with a meaningful focus on niche engineering, manufacturing, or hardware roles
  • Demonstrated success filling searches where the qualified population is small and largely passive
  • Strong research and market-mapping skills, including passive outreach via LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
  • Ability to learn technical domains quickly and hold credible conversations with engineers about their work
  • Comfort recruiting for on-site and facility-based roles, including markets outside major metros
  • Experience partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders, including director-level and above hiring managers
  • Experience recruiting in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Skilled in salary and equity negotiation
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed hiring goals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Data-driven, with the ability to use recruiting metrics and market trends to guide hiring strategy
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Benefits

  • Compensation will be paid in the hourly range of $70.00 - $80.00

Compensation will be paid in the hourly range of $70.00 - $80.00. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Schedule

This is a six month contract with potential to extend based on business need.
