About the role

As a Contract Recruiter on the Vertiv Talent Acquisition team, you will identify and attract top talent supporting our global engineering business units and product lines: Power and Thermal Management, IT Systems, Global Services, Infrastructure Solutions, Core Engineering, and Global PMO. You will collaborate with recruiters, HR partners, hiring managers, and leaders to build teams aligned with our strategic priorities and behaviors. This role initially supports our Power product lines, including Large and Medium UPS, DC Power, Energy Storage, Power Solutions, Switchgear, and Busbar.

Responsibilities

  • Play a critical role in the accelerated growth of our Power Business Unit engineering product lines.
  • Build Talent Acquisition expertise through relationships, processes, and technology.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting responsibilities for assigned requisitions within the Power Business Unit.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Power Business Unit leadership to develop recruiting strategies that achieve company and business goals.
  • Demonstrate success in hiring talent within critical engineering functions.
  • Contribute to teamwork and knowledge sharing within the TA team and HR organization.
  • Share innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement and examine processes for increased value.
  • Approach daily work with ethics, responsibility, discipline, and ownership, understanding the impact on customers and the company.
  • Define and build programs that support the business from a talent perspective, leading with a sales and consultative approach.
  • Foster a data-driven organization and leverage metrics and trends to drive results.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience on a regional or national level, preferably in both third-party and corporate environments.
  • Experience recruiting for or familiarity with key skill sets in the Power space, such as:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Power Electronics Engineering
    • Firmware Engineering
    • Test Engineering
    • Sustaining and Reliability Engineering
    • Product Management
    • Project/Program Management
    • Data Science/Engineering
  • Experience in strategic recruiting in a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to create buy-in with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and present data to various audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly transformative, fast-paced environment.
