Wage Range: $74,139.48 - $86,496.06 annually
About the role
The Recruiter position collaborates with the entire HR team to offer a comprehensive scope of services to both job applicants and staff. This position plays a crucial role in creating a pipeline of viable candidates to support recruiting exceptional talent. The primary duties require a balance of creativity and drive in tandem with strong leadership skills and proven experience with delivering results.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on management of full cycle recruiting process ensuring a positive candidate experience, including updating job descriptions, writing ads/job postings, and facilitating salary negotiations.
- Screen resumes at all levels and interview qualified candidates ensuring a smooth process through offer and candidate close.
- Formulate multilevel interview questions for each opening.
- Develop effective assessment of skill sets using appropriate testing.
- Conduct reference checks and facilitate background screening and DOJ screening, when necessary.
- Work with Sr Director of HR and management teams to develop, implement, and execute hiring strategies.
- Collaborate with internal hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and goals.
- Develop and implement recruiting-related programs including creative sourcing plans, University relations, and promotion of the employee referral program.
- Provide training and mentorship to hiring managers.
- Determine and manage recruiting priorities and define and manage recruiting metrics.
- Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers.
- Manage relationship and recruiting with 3rd party head-hunters for senior level positions, when needed.
- Work with HR Staff/Training department to on-board new hires.
- Act as an internally and externally facing representative for Eden Housing.
- Develop strategic relationships throughout the organization.
- Develop and refine Eden Housing’s presence on various recruiting platforms, including social media.
- Actively participate in our culture of inclusivity.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation as needed.
- Must have access to reliable transportation to travel during the business day to Eden properties, training sites, and retail stores.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
- Experience with recruiting software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of federal/state hiring regulations and compliance, including work authorization procedures.
- Recruiting or SHRM certification is a plus.

- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
