About the Role
We’re seeking a Recruiter to join a premier manufacturing organization in Yucaipa, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work on-site with a leading manufacturing and engineering team committed to innovation and quality. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting mission-critical manufacturing operations while contributing to workforce planning, employer branding, and recruiting initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned requisitions through the full recruitment lifecycle, including position intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, employment offers, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, define position requirements, and support hiring decisions.
- Develop and post job descriptions and recruitment materials for approved openings.
- Source, screen, evaluate, and recommend qualified candidates using multiple recruiting channels and maintain talent pipelines.
- Coordinate interviews, facilitate candidate and hiring manager communication, and advise on recruiting processes and candidate selection.
- Prepare employment offers and coordinate pre-employment activities such as background checks, drug screenings, and new hire documentation.
- Maintain accurate, confidential recruiting records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws, company policies, and established procedures.
- Prepare and maintain recruiting reports and metrics to monitor effectiveness and support decisions.
- Support recruiting events, career fairs, community outreach, and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR team.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, staffing, or a related HR function (preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment).
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting practices, talent acquisition strategies, and candidate sourcing techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruiting technologies.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence hiring decisions.
- Highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple requisitions while adapting to changing business priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
