Responsibilities
- Coordinates the applicant process to include: Reviewing and screening applicants in the applicant tracking system. Forwarding qualified applicants to hiring manager. Scheduling and participating in interviews as needed. Extending all offers of employment/transfer. Processing new hires and transfers within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Captures the job posting process to include: Auditing job requisitions for accuracy. Posting positions within 24-48 hours of approval. Performing intake sessions with managers prior to posting to ensure the posting is accurate.
- Creates applicant pipelines by networking with colleges and universities, professional organizations, community organizations, and clinical programs.
- Sources qualified applicants through social media, word of mouth and employee referrals.
Other Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain active relationship with business unit leadership and Strategic Partners to have knowledge of workforce plans, projected staffing needs and other changes in order to effectively market careers and identify talent pools.
- In collaboration with the workforce development team and marketing: Provides input and support to marketing with the MyMichigan Health Careers website Assist in the development and management strategies for social network options.
- Demonstrate positive working relations with other members of the workforce team, human resources, education, employee health and wellness, academia and the community.
- Represent MyMichigan Health at recruitment events.
Qualifications
- Must have 3-5 years’ experience in customer services and/or human resources.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality customer service.
- Must have strong organizational, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the Internet.
- Must be able to work independently with various customers, internal and external to achieve results.
- Must be decisive and communicate with all stakeholders on progress of goals and achievement of outcomes.
- Must be a team player and work effectively with others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have working knowledge of basic college requirements including general education courses and program specialties.
- Must have a strong technical knowledge background including but not limited to Microsoft® Office Suite and Infor.
