About the role

We are seeking a Recruiter I to support talent acquisition and recruiting initiatives for entry-level and high-volume positions. This role is ideal for an early-career recruiting professional who enjoys working with candidates, partnering with hiring teams, and building strong talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for entry-level and high-volume positions.
  • Source, identify, engage, and screen qualified candidates using recruiting platforms, sourcing tools, and professional networks.
  • Develop foundational recruiting strategies to support hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines and talent pools for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct candidate screening and support interview processes using effective interviewing and assessment techniques.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring leaders, HR stakeholders, and senior Talent Acquisition team members to understand hiring needs and identify recruiting solutions.
  • Support recruitment events, networking activities, and talent communities to generate qualified candidates.
  • Aid in Talent Acquisition projects, process improvements, and recruiting initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting information within Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting technologies.
  • Stay informed on applicable employment laws, regulations, company policies, and recruiting best practices.
  • Support the development and presentation of competitive compensation packages in partnership with appropriate HR stakeholders.
  • Escalate recruiting issues appropriately and seek guidance on complex policy or process matters.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive candidate and employee information.
  • Perform additional Talent Acquisition responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in recruiting, staffing, human resources, or talent acquisition.
  • Foundational knowledge of recruiting and talent acquisition practices, including candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
  • Knowledge of effective candidate screening and interviewing techniques.
  • Familiarity with recruiting technologies, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), sourcing platforms, and Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.
  • Basic understanding of applicable employment laws and regulations, including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, and relevant state and federal recruiting requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build professional relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy, and tact.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative Talent Acquisition team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Skills

  • Experience in staffing, recruiting, talent acquisition, or high-volume recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting within the financial services, banking, or lending industry.
  • Familiarity with bank operations, financial services, or regulated business environments.
  • Experience supporting multiple hiring teams or business functions.
  • Strong candidate relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and support recruiting projects across multiple teams.
  • Experience identifying opportunities to improve recruiting processes and candidate experience.
  • Strong influencing, relationship-building, administration, and time-management skills.
