Location: Sanford, NC • 18-month, ongoing W2 contract • 40 hours per week
About the role
We are seeking a Recruiter 2 to support high-volume recruiting and workforce planning initiatives associated with ongoing operational growth and the startup of a new assembly line. This position will serve as a key partner to hiring managers, operations leadership, and HR teams by managing the recruitment lifecycle, driving candidate pipelines, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate evaluation, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
- Conduct and coordinate candidate interviews while facilitating interview feedback and hiring decisions.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines to support hiring targets and operational growth initiatives.
- Track recruiting metrics, staffing progress, and workforce planning data to support business objectives.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates within applicant tracking systems and recruiting databases.
- Collaborate with HR, Operations, Training, and Recruiting teams to achieve staffing goals and support new business initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with recruiting policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Provide regular recruitment status updates, including hiring progress, sourcing challenges, and workforce trends.
- Support recruitment campaigns and continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing time-to-fill and increasing hiring effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or related experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience conducting interviews and assessing candidate qualifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting high-volume or manufacturing recruiting environments.
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Targeted Selection Interviewer certification or experience.
- Experience analyzing recruiting metrics and workforce data.

Schedule
On-site, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, Monday–Friday including one Saturday per month (May–August).

$29.28 per hour
