About the role
Department: Recreation. Barg. Unit: Non-Union. Status: Part Time (5-15 hours/week). Reliable Transportation Is Required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for opening and supervising the Lewiston Armory during recreation programs and rentals.
- Ensures safety and wellbeing of program participants and visitors.
- Provides excellent customer service to all patrons.
- Assists with setting up/breaking down basic recreation equipment, such as volleyball nets, tables/chairs, raising/lowering basketball hoops, pickleball nets, etc.
- Completes some light janitorial duties.
- Secures building after each event.
- Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience is helpful, but not required.
- Must have the ability to reliably follow procedures and work independently.
- Must have experience with, and enjoy working with all members of the public.
Pay
Pay Rate: $16-18 depending on experience.
Schedule
Schedule: Based on demand. Must be available to work night and weekend hours to accommodate a wide range of community programs.
