About the role
This position is located at Presidio of Monterey, California - Price Fitness Center.
Responsibilities
- Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory
- Receives and resolves customer complaints
- Provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery
- Affords assistance in the use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
- Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions
- May provide work guidance to other staff
Requirements
- Conditions of employment: Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactory completion of an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Qualifications: Must be available to work early mornings, late evenings and weekends. Must be willing to accept a flexible appointment.
Qualifications
- Resumes must be two pages (or less).
- Must possess 6 months work experience involving dealing with the general public.

Pay
- Pay-banded system.
- Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
- No non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid.
