About the role
Make a difference in students' lives through fun, creativity, and play! The Recreation Advisor is responsible for providing a comprehensive and diverse recreation program, promoting health and wellness, and ensuring that Center policies and procedures are followed and enforced.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate center activities to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive student environment.
- Work with staff members to promote positive student behavior and engagement.
- Monitor campus safety, respond to incidents, and enforce policies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them develop life and career skills.
- Work collaboratively with different departments to maintain a productive and goal-oriented atmosphere.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED.
- A valid in-State Driver's License and meeting Company insurability requirements are mandatory.
- A CDL is preferred.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- An Associates of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with youth is preferred.
- The ability to lift 40 pounds and assess the lift load is required.
Skills
Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills, experience in working with youth, supervision (Job Corps or similar setting preferred), ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, passion for youth development and creating a positive impact.

$17.20 per hour
Schedule
Part Time position - 20 hours per week, Tuesday-Friday 5p-10p, Saturday and Sunday - OFF
