About the role

Glenmont Job Corps Center provides students with opportunities to earn their High School Diploma or GED, and receive hands-on training in various fields such as Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, and more. Adams and Associates is a workforce provider involved in the federal Job Corps program, offering services to approximately 9,000 young people annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a diverse range of recreational activities, including sports, fitness programs, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises.
• Foster a positive and inclusive recreational environment that encourages personal growth, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them develop social skills, self-confidence, and resilience.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate recreational activities into the overall educational and vocational program.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• An Associates of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with youth preferred.
• A valid in-State Drivers License and meeting Company insurability requirements.
• A CDL is preferred but not required.
