About the role
Make a difference in students' lives through fun, creativity, and play! As a Recreation Advisor, you'll design and lead activities promoting wellness, teamwork, and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate center activities to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive student environment.
- Work with staff members to promote positive student behavior and engagement.
- Maintain campus safety, respond to incidents, and enforce policies.
- Mentor and guide students, helping them develop life and career skills.
- Collaborate with different departments to maintain a productive and goal-oriented atmosphere.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid in-state driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for youth development and creating a positive impact.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in working with youth (Job Corps or similar setting preferred).
- Advanced degrees preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Knowledge of health and wellness programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Schedule
- Monday-Wednesday: 3:00pm-12:00am
- Saturday: 3:00pm-12:00am
- Sunday: 1:00pm-10:00pm
- Thursday/Friday: OFF
