Recovery House Care Manager-Part Time

About the role

The Recovery House Manager Care Manager provides support and case management services to individuals residing in Renewal, Inc.’s sober living housing. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining a recovery plan, connecting residents with community resources, coordinating care with treatment providers, monitoring resident progress, ensuring compliance with program guidelines, and serving as an advocate for residents.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a recovery plan for residents
• Connect residents with various community resources to aid in their recovery
• Coordinate care with internal and external treatment providers
• Maintain oversight of resident progress while in recovery housing
• Ensure all residents comply with program guidelines at all times
• Serve as an advocate for residents and their individual needs
• Promote a positive recovery environment conducive to long-term sobriety through structure and accountability

Requirements

• Demonstrated understanding of addiction treatment, including the 12-step program, treatment modalities, and recovery support systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High personal ethical standards
• Proven problem-solving and research skills
• One year of experience in a residential, human services, substance abuse, or community support setting
• Preferred experience as a Certified Recovery or Certified Peer Specialist
• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalency, with an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and PA Act 33/Act 34 clearance
