About the role

The role involves managing and enhancing the Services provided by NEOGOV, including but not limited to job postings, applicant tracking, and communication with employers and job seekers. Responsibilities include improving the user interface, analyzing user behavior, and ensuring the security and integrity of the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance the user interface of the Services
  • Analyze user behavior and usage patterns to improve the platform
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the platform
  • Respond to user inquiries and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement new features and functionalities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in web development or software engineering
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular
  • Strong understanding of backend technologies such as Node.js, Express, and MongoDB
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and OAuth authentication
  • Experience with database design and optimization
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Good knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
