Records Clerk
About the role
Cullen and Dykman LLP is a full-service law firm founded in 1850. We are dedicated to providing high-quality legal services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Our office in Uniondale is seeking a Records Clerk to join our dynamic and collegial team.
Responsibilities
- Open, organize, and maintain client and administrative files.
- Retrieve and process file requests in a timely manner.
- Cook and retrieve records from off-site storage vendors.
- Enter and maintain records information in the firm's records management system.
- Organize, label, and move files and boxes as needed.
- Aid with other records management and administrative projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of records, file room, or administrative experience in a professional office environment.
- Experience working with alpha-numeric filing systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lift and move file boxes as needed.
Pay & Benefits
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k), and a collaborative, professional corporate culture dedicated to client service and career development. The salary range for this role is $40,000 – $45,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
