Responsibilities
- Manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.
- Maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions, keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
- Be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible.
- Embody compassion and empathy, being a calming presence for clients and demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation.
Requirements
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
- Veterinary experience is preferred.
- Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
- A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
Qualifications
- A degree in veterinary technology or related field.
- Current certification as a Veterinary Technician.
- Valid Virginia State License.
