About the role
We are looking for an experienced front desk team member to support daily guest services and administrative coordination for a corporate office in Charleston, South Carolina. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can create a welcoming first impression while helping maintain an organized, secure, and efficient workplace. The role combines customer-facing reception duties with operational support, making it well suited to a candidate who is attentive, dependable, and comfortable balancing service and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Welcome residents, guests, vendors, and other visitors while ensuring a welcoming and positive front desk experience.
- Manage building entry procedures by verifying visitors, overseeing access protocols, and helping maintain a secure environment.
- Receive, sort, and distribute packages, deliveries, and other incoming items in an accurate and timely manner.
- Coordinate scheduling needs, maintain records, and assist with administrative documentation that supports daily building operations.
- Answer inbound calls, respond to routine inquiries, and direct questions to the appropriate internal contacts.
- Support vendors and service providers by facilitating check-in procedures and helping coordinate on-site visits.
- Perform front desk duties that require a mix of seated administrative work and active movement throughout the property.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in reception, guest services, front desk coordination, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally.
- Demonstrated customer service ability with a courteous, composed, and solutions-oriented approach.
- Comfort using common workplace technology, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
- Solid organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities during the day.
