About the role
New Holland Auto Group, located in New Holland, PA, is accepting applications and conducting personal interviews for a Receptionist / Accounting Assistant. We are looking for a personable, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can provide excellent customer service while assisting with daily administrative and accounting functions.
Schedule
- Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Reception & Administrative Duties:
- Greeting visitors both telephonically and in-person at the dealership
- Answering and routing phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Filing and organizing paperwork
- Sorting and sending mail
- Stocking office supplies
- Accepting payments and providing receipts
- Providing information and assistance to other departments as needed
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming front-desk environment
Accounting Assistant Duties:
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Processing and recording payments
- Posting transactions and maintaining accurate financial records
- Reconciling daily payments and deposits
- Assisting with bank deposits and deposit documentation
- Entering invoices, receipts, and other financial information into accounting systems
- Maintaining and organizing accounting records and documentation
- Assisting with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Communicating with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding payments and account information
- Providing general accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Handling confidential financial information with discretion and accuracy
Requirements
- Must be comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures required
- Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, cash-handling, or administrative experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
