Receiving Supervisor

About the role

Logic Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Department Supervisor to join our team! This opportunity offers you the ability to work independently within a distribution environment that handles sailing, skiing, and outdoor clothing items.

Pay

$26 to $29/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm (ability to work overtime and weekends as needed)

Type: Full-time; Temp to Perm

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and guidance to assigned staff and prioritize work assignments.
• Maintain the Inbound department in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure condition.
• Schedule container deliveries.
• Unload and inspect freight deliveries for damage.
• Operate a variety of warehouse equipment, including cherry-picking forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
• Input data and generate reports using a personal computer.
• Build strong relationships with freight companies and local Port dispatch.
• Resolve issues concerning requisitions, stock on hand, backorders, shipment discrepancies, damage, or storage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 years of responsible warehouse experience involving the off-loading, storage, and issuance of supplies and equipment.
• 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with warehouse equipment, cherry picking forklift & pallet jack.
• Must be okay with heights (cherry picker goes 30 to 40 feet in the air).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
• Experience with WMS / ERP Systems and the MS365 Suite.
• Ability to complete and receive an Equipment Operating Certification.
• Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
• Must be comfortable with completing a background check.
