Receiving Supervisor

Position Summary

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee incoming inventory items, ensuring timely unloads and proper distribution.
• Review purchasing orders; note any discrepancies, document items received, and utilize MRP system.
• Evaluate and report on warehouse productivity.
• Train receiving team on forklift, scanning gun, and all other related equipment.
• Periodically review and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervise receiving and material handling team members.
• Inspect products for damage and accurate counts.
• Ensure items are properly tagged, labeled, and stored safely and properly.
• Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity.
• Receive items into the MRP system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure safety practices & processes are being followed by the receiving team and within the receiving area.

Education And Experience Requirements

• 2-4 years of warehouse experience required.
• 2-4 years in a leadership role.
• Able to work independently and within a fast-paced environment.
