Receiving Supervisor

About the role

Responsible for supervising a team to deliver safe, reliable, compliant and efficient warehousing services, including storage of materials and repairs and maintenance of equipment, to achieve daily objectives as part of the established plan.

Responsibilities

• Captures and coordinates warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, quality control, spare part distribution and component part support.
• Safely and properly stores materials within delegation of responsibility.
• Delivers daily supervision to a team of direct reports and provides basic skills training, coaching and mentoring.
• Schedules repairs for warehouse maintenance, which may include company vehicles and forklifts, and assists in developing replenishment plans for equipment.
• Adheres to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Ensures regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Experience with forklift operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay

Pay Range: $18.50 - $40.19 Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.

Schedule

The schedule is 5a-1:30p plus OT as needed.
