About the role
This position is responsible for filling out paperwork used in the receiving area and packing slips of material received, and includes communications with customers, team members at both plants, and truck drivers.
The role is onsite, non-exempt, and full-time, with a schedule of 7:45am - 4:30pm, and mandatory overtime, including possible weekends.
Responsibilities
- Receive truck drivers and check in materials
- Administer and release documentation in a timely manner to the receiving clerk
- Ensure effective communication with customers, deliver drivers, clerk, lead, and supervisor for any material issues
- Ensure warehouse and plants are FIFO and stocked with material needed for production picklist
- Load and unload customer material for shipment as needed
- Deliver materials according to schedule
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the receiving/shipping/warehouse area
- Adhere to EHS and company policies, and standard work expectations
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of related experience in Shipping and Receiving
- 1 year of warehouse experience
- Familiarity with Packing slips, Forklift, and pallet jack preferred
- Beginner to Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and email
- Intermediate-advanced math skills
- Strong analytical, planning skills, and critical thinking ability required

- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Highly effective, articulate communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage a variety of projects and tasks
- Bilingual English-Spanish preferred
Physical Requirements
75% of the time will be spent on the production floor, while the remaining 25% will be filling out paperwork. Must be able to lift 25 pounds individually and team lift 50 pounds, and perform the job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures.
