Shipping & Receiving Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Moves and places parts and materials ready for processing and storage.
• Operates mobile equipment (forklift, electric and manual pallet jacks).
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Sets up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing/shipping.
• Identifies and ensures correct placement of parts in designated order.
• Ensures checklists are completed correctly (quantity and serial numbers if applicable) before turning in.
• Navigates and notifies supervisor of needed resources/supplies (pallets, lumber, services).
• Understands and follows company procedures and work instructions.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Fulfills all company policies, safety, and procedures.
• Reports any problems observed to supervisor/manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum of 6 months working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift and man lift to approved O.S.H.A. standards.
