Real Estate Paralegal/ Title Processor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable handling both legal and title-related responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file legal documents, including deeds, affidavits, pleadings, discovery, notices, and closing-related filings
• Handle recording of documents with county offices (e-recording preferred)
• Review, prepare, and balance Closing Disclosures (CDs) and HUD-1 Settlement Statements
• Order and review title commitments and title searches
• Identify and assist in clearing title issues (liens, judgments, etc.)
• Process title files from opening through post-closing
• Coordinate with lenders, realtors, buyers, sellers, and attorneys
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate and organized transaction files in Qualia
• Schedule and calendar deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of real estate paralegal or title processing experience
• Proficiency in Qualia software
• Strong experience with closing disclosures, HUDs, and title commitments
• Familiarity with legal filings and recording procedures in Florida
• Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
• Some litigation experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in wills, trusts, and estate planning
• Experience in scheduling and coordinating discovery in legal disputes
• Experience in real-estate marketing
