The Team Attorney position is an alternative to traditional partnership-track position and has a lower billable hour requirement (and minimal non-billable requirements).

About the role

Experience representing commercial real estate lenders and servicers in the CMBS industry is a plus but not required. We are looking for individuals with superior academic credentials, solid experience in the real estate and/or real estate finance area and a strong desire to excel.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial real estate finance matters
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic advice
• Manage and resolve disputes related to real estate finance transactions
• Prepare and review legal documents and contracts
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and risk management
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm as needed

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in commercial real estate finance
• Superior academic credentials
• Strong experience in the real estate and/or real estate finance area
• A strong desire to excel

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of real estate finance laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
