About the role

The Real Estate Transactional Practice Group at Hanson Bridgett is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join their Real Estate + Environment Section. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of sophisticated real estate finance matters, work closely with a seasoned partner, and contribute to the practice's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Advising on complex real estate transactions, including debt and equity financing structures, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development and construction projects, securitized lending, due diligence, and title and survey review.
  • Managing multiple transactions simultaneously and engaging directly with clients, including lenders, developers, and investors.
  • Mentoring junior attorneys and working with many partners to help shape team workflows and build meaningful client relationships.
  • Collaborating in person with attorneys in Hanson Bridgett’s Los Angeles office approximately 3 days per week, with flexibility in other locations depending on office norms.

Requirements

  • At least seven years of experience advising on complex real estate transactions.
  • Experience with HUD financing is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Distinguished academic background.
  • Impeccable references.
  • CA Bar required.

Benefits

  • Annual base compensation range of approximately $255,000 to $360,000+, depending on experience, skills, and location.
