Job Summary
A highly regarded AmLaw firm is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Associate to join its growing team in New York. This is an opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated real estate matters, including:
Responsibilities
- Real estate finance transactions representing lenders and investors in permanent, construction, and mezzanine loans
- Acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate assets
- Negotiation of commercial leases across office, retail, industrial, warehouse, healthcare, and multifamily properties
Qualifications
- 3+ years of real estate finance experience
- Experience handling loan transactions, acquisitions/dispositions, and lease negotiations
- Strong academic credentials and a J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to, or eligibility for admission in, Illinois or New York
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
