About the Role

Join Lennox and play a key role in maintaining efficient distribution operations. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will ensure inventory accuracy by tracking materials, maintaining records, and supporting the flow of products throughout the distribution center. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys working with data, inventory systems, and organized record-keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking materials received, shipped, and transferred throughout the distribution center.
  • Update inventory information in company systems to ensure real-time accuracy and visibility.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify replenishment needs, and help prevent stock shortages.
  • Prepare and process stock replenishment requests using established systems and procedures.
  • Verify inventory transactions and support cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Partner with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and maintain efficient operations.
  • Follow established inventory control processes and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education; relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of inventory control processes, inventory management systems, and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately maintain records and verify inventory transactions.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and consistently adhere to company policies and inventory control standards.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience using inventory management software or ERP systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams.

Pay

The starting pay range for this hourly non-exempt role is between $18 – $24/hour, depending on geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Employees in this role are eligible to earn overtime when working more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
