About the role

BehaviorCare Therapy is hiring Paraprofessionals (RBT/BT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients’ homes for a 17‑year‑old girl with autism. You’ll work directly with families, delivering play‑based ABA techniques designed by a licensed BCBA to build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence. The role offers training, ongoing support, and the chance to make a meaningful impact while fitting around your current job or school schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work one‑on‑one with the child in their home using play‑based ABA therapy.
• Follow step‑by‑step treatment plans created by your supervising BCBA.
• Track progress during each session with an easy data system on a phone or tablet (training provided).
• Collaborate with the BCBA and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
• Provide feedback to families about each session and celebrate small wins together.

Requirements

• Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after‑school programs, caregiving, autism).
• ABA experience is a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

$21–$26/hr based on experience.

Schedule

Location: Mesa, AZ (in the client's home). Hours: Monday & Wednesday 3:00 PM‑5:00 PM; Tuesday & Friday 9:00 AM‑11:00 AM; Thursday 10:00 AM‑12:00 PM.
