About the role
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking a Paraprofessional (RBT/BT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in the home of a 10‑year‑old boy with autism in Mesa, AZ. You will work directly with the child, using play‑based techniques designed by a licensed BCBA to build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence. This role is ideal for those seeking extra income with part‑time afternoon/evening flexibility, who want to work 1:1 with kids and make a meaningful impact, and for individuals already working in school, clinic, or therapy settings looking to pick up more hours.
Responsibilities
- Work one‑on‑one with the child in their home to implement play‑based ABA therapy.
- Follow step‑by‑step treatment plans created by your supervising BCBA.
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on a phone or tablet (training provided).
- Collaborate with the BCBA and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after‑school programs, caregiving, autism).
- ABA experience is a plus.
- Afternoon/evening availability; weekend availability is a plus.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.

Schedule
Scheduled sessions for this client are Tuesday 3:30 PM–8:00 PM, Thursday 5:30 PM–8:00 PM, and Saturday & Sunday 12:30 PM–3:00 PM. Flexible scheduling is offered; you can indicate your availability and we will match you with clients accordingly.
