About the Role
Join BehaviorCare Therapy as a Paraprofessional (RBT/BT) to provide 1-on-1 support to a 7-year-old boy with autism in his home. This part-time, flexible role is ideal for those looking to supplement their current job or school schedule while making a meaningful impact. You’ll help build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with a child in their home using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by your BCBA supervisor.
- Track progress during each session using a simple data system on your phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate small wins together.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, or autism-specific roles).
- ABA experience is a plus.
- Afternoon/evening availability; weekends are a plus.
- Reliable transportation.
Pay
$21-$26/hour, based on experience.
