Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Acute patient assessment
• IV access, blood draws, cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Clinical consultation
• Supporting inpatient and outpatient units
• Validating clinical concerns
• Clinical decision-making outside traditional ICU settings
• Promoting patient and family-centered care
• Education, safety, and quality compliance
• Developing and communicating individualized care plans
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5 years ICU experience required, with backgrounds in Trauma, Neuro, Burn, CVICU, or Medical/Surgical ICU preferred
• RN license, ACLS certification, Ultrasound-Guided IV Certification preferred
• Strong adaptability, critical thinking, collaboration, and mentorship skills
• Experience in Level I Trauma Centers is advantageous

This role offers autonomous practice in diverse clinical environments, supporting hospital-wide patient care, with self-scheduled shifts, float responsibilities, and shift differentials. It emphasizes safety, professionalism, and ongoing development to improve patient outcomes.
