Responsibilities
- Provides expert support across the Barnes-Jewish Hospital campus.
- Assesses patient deterioration and responds to rapid response and difficult airway events.
- Facilitates escalation of care and helps ensure timely interventions for patients.
- Supports bedside nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams in various care environments.
- Performs tasks such as acute patient assessment, IV access, blood draws, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and real-time clinical consultation.
- Serves as a second set of eyes, validating concerns, coordinating resources, and supporting complex clinical decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of ICU experience required.
- AACLS certification required.
- CCRN certification preferred.
- TNCC certification preferred.
- Ultrasound-Guided IV Certification.
- Level I Trauma Center experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- BSN differential available.
