How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing
- Make sure customer baggage and cargo arrive safely and on time
- Guide incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions
- Safeguard cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather
- Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate baggage routing
- Drive and operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas
Work Tasks
- Physical tasks include bending, lifting, standing, and walking
- Tasks are repetitive, such as loading and stacking bags weighing up to 50-70 pounds
- Some tasks may be completed in harsh weather conditions (heat, rain, snow)
- Operate safely in all operational processes and procedures
What You Need To Succeed
- Consistently prioritize safety and security
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Be at least 18 years old and have authorization to work in the United States
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
- Wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Hold an airport-specific requirement such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
