The Impact You Will Have

  • Developing and managing software tools using QuickBase and related applications.
  • Developing and maintaining project management and field data collection web applications for internal and external users.
  • Assisting with coordination, development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and training for QuickBase workflows and best practices.
  • Providing QuickBase expertise and support to organizational staff and project teams.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peers, superiors, vendor representatives, and clients.
  • Analyzing complex problems, evaluating alternatives, and making sound, well-structured recommendations.
  • Working with various skilled staff from other departments or outside clients.
  • Supporting QuickBase application development, to include QuickBase ‘pipelines’ management and Jinja coding.
  • Explaining technical issues and concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Planning, managing, and implementing QuickBase projects; assessing progress and making appropriate corrections to keep projects on track.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience in Railroad Project Management operations preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a QuickBase Application developer or similar position with professional-level experience in the design, development, implementation, and administration of QuickBase Applications.
  • Active QB Builder Certificate required.
  • Active QB Pipelines Builder Certificate required.
  • Expert Builder Certificate preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Python, HTML, and Jinja preferred.
  • Understanding of emerging cloud-based project management technologies and their application to improve business operations.

Pay

Pay Range $30—$42 USD
