About the role
Provides clinical support in radiology, assisting with operational oversight, staff supervision, and quality improvement. Acts as a liaison between staff, management, and radiologists, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate radiographic imaging.
Responsibilities
- Train, mentor, and coordinate clinical activities for students.
- Manage patient flow and maintain safety standards in radiation protection.
- Assist with clinical operations, performance measurement, and implementation of new practices.
- Guide staff scheduling, triage, and serve as a resource for clinical staff.
- Oversee student clinical activities to meet curriculum standards.
- Ensure the submission of high-quality radiographs for accurate diagnosis.
- Deliver excellent patient service and maintain safety standards in radiation use.
- Record digital images and support radiologist interpretation.
Requirements
- Radiologic Technologist certification and ARRT registration required.
- 2-3 years of radiology experience with diverse patient populations preferred.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and teaching skills.
- Ability to work independently and motivate others.
- Education can be substituted with relevant experience.
