Radiology Technologist Lead

About the role

This position involves performing imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and patient care. The role includes organizing daily operations, ensuring high-quality exams, and maintaining patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow to deliver safe, effective procedures and treatments.
• Apply radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans according to hospital protocols.
• Complete documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold care standards.
• Achieve assigned goals and contribute to departmental success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in an acute care or similar setting.
• Registered with ARRT(R) in Radiography.
• BLS certification required within 30 days.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• State licensure and BLS certification within specified timeframes preferred.
