Responsibilities
- Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging including fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity, ensuring the principles of ALARA are achieved
- Participates in the department quality improvement processes to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Supports department’s patient workflow such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient in-take, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Radiography certified or eligible
- Basic Life Support certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography
- Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Depending on departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in skills such as vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc.
- Change agility and flexibility a must
