Responsibilities
- Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging, including fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity, under the general direction of a physician, ensuring the principles of ALARA are achieved
- Participates in the department quality improvement processes to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Supports department’s patient workflow, such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient intake, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice
Requirements
- High School Diploma, Certificate, GED, training, or experience required
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist
- Basic Life Support certification
- Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology
- Six months of experience in an acute care setting preferred
- ARRT Radiography certified or eligible
- Change agility and flexibility required
- Depending on departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in skills such as vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc.
Pay
Estimated pay range for this position is $27.72 - $36.04 per hour depending on experience.
