About the role
Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging under the general direction of a physician, focusing on the principles of ALARA.
Responsibilities
- Fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity
- Participates in department quality improvement processes to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Supports department’s patient workflow by performing tasks such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient intake, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Basic Life Support certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist license
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography certification
- Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology
- Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Change agility and flexibility are essential
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic Life Support certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist license
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography certification
