About the role
To provide proficient technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra and post-interventional/surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices, physiologic patient monitoring and assisting with direct patient care. Responsible for safe and effective operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures. Is a patient/family educator, advocate and liaison.
Responsibilities
- Assists with patient preparation and intra/post-interventional/surgical procedures
- Manages supplies and devices
- Monitors physiologic patient data
- Aids in direct patient care
- Safely operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
- Operates specialized imaging and technical equipment
- Provides patient/family education and advocacy
- Serves as a liaison between patients and medical staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Certified Radiologic Technologist license from Florida
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) credentials and advanced certifications (VI, CV, CT, MR, CI, or US for IVR and RCIS or RCES for Cath Lab)
- Minimum of 12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) annually, with at least 10 CEUs in Cardiovascular-related topics
- One year of relevant experience

- CCI Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography
- CCI Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
Skills
- Proficient in radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment operation

Estimated pay range for this position is $36.16 - $50.62 / hour depending on experience.
