About the role
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform various imaging procedures, including X-Rays and CT scans, with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, CR readers, and PACS.
- Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to facilitate accurate imaging and patient needs.
- Perform imaging exams in compliance with policies, regulations, and notify physicians of results.
- Perform basic clinical procedures under the direction of physicians or nurses.
- Maintain documentation, logs, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
- Collect lab samples and perform tests per established protocols and regulations.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance, quality control, proficiency testing, and documentation activities.
- Perform duties as needed in emergency settings and travel to multiple facility locations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, with graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program.
- Certification as a radiologic technologist and ARRT registration in radiography; CT registration preferred or required within 12 months.
- Current BLS certification.
- 2+ years of radiologic/imaging experience and 1+ years of CT and ER experience preferred.
- Proficiency with imaging equipment, hardware/software, PACS, and fluency in English.
