About the Role
Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, independently and accurately. Provide technical support and patient care to assist healthcare teams in delivering quality services. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, and PACS systems. Ensure all procedures adhere to established policies, regulations, and laws, notifying physicians of results.
Responsibilities
- Maintain thorough documentation, logs, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
- Collect laboratory samples and perform testing following policies and regulatory standards.
- Ensure supply readiness for imaging procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance and quality control on imaging equipment.
- Perform proficiency testing and retain analytic records for at least two years.
- Assist as an ER Technician when needed.
- Travel to facility locations as required.
- Participate in staff meetings.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Radiology Technology training from an AMA-approved school required.
- Certified radiologic technologist licensed by the state; ARRT registration in radiography required; CT registration preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years radiologic/imaging experience; CT and ER experience preferred.
- Proficiency with imaging hardware/software and PACS.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and oral communication skills.
