Radiology Technologist Float Pool

About the role

This position is part of the Imaging Float Pool, requiring flexibility to work across multiple facilities on a self-scheduled basis. Caregivers must commit to a minimum of four shifts within each 8-week period, including at least one challenging shift (weekends, holidays, nights, or on-call). You will maintain competencies across sites, work at least two different facilities per period, and provide radiologic imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures across multiple facilities
• Maintain competency in diverse clinical settings
• Assist with patient transfers and equipment management
• Ensure accurate operation of imaging equipment and patient care documentation
• Navigate busy environments and stand for extended periods

Requirements

• ARRT(R) certification and a state radiologic technologist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred: 1-2 years radiology experience and IV certification
• May need to complete Medical Assistant competency and perform related duties
• Strong communication, manual dexterity, and physical ability to lift, transfer, and transport patients and equipment
• Ability to read, assess, and operate diagnostic equipment accurately

Pay

Hourly rate varies based on experience ($29.14 - $44.94).

This is a PRN, shift-based role without benefits eligibility, emphasizing flexibility and self-scheduling.
