About the role

Performs routine radiographic procedures ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Process radiographic exams and verify patient demographics and technical information.
  • Assess image quality and maintain timely workflow.
  • Accurately document data for Radiologists in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Monitor patient condition, administer first aid, and assist physicians during emergencies.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
  • Restock supplies and support clinical education of students.
  • Maintain proficiency in operating room (OR) exams.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Completion of a two-year AMA-accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification and Maryland state licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
