About the role
Performs routine radiographic procedures ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Process radiographic exams and verify patient demographics and technical information.
- Assess image quality and maintain timely workflow.
- Accurately document data for Radiologists in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Monitor patient condition, administer first aid, and assist physicians during emergencies.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Restock supplies and support clinical education of students.
- Maintain proficiency in operating room (OR) exams.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year AMA-accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current ARRT certification and Maryland state licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
