Responsibilities

  • Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
  • Functions as the first line interface with customers and ensures the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
  • Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.
  • Assists in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program.
  • Oversees the radiology area and/or staff in the Manager’s/Director’s absence.
  • Maintains department supplies and promotes teamwork and good customer service.
  • Handles scheduling for assigned sub-departments and maintains supplies and equipment.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Requirements

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the State.
  • Effective July 1, 2017, appropriate national certifications in two modalities are required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
  • Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
  • One year of Acute Clinical Radiography experience preferred.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $32.89 to $51.05 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Schedule

Full-time, day shift.
