About the Role
Responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs, including OR, fluoroscopy, Dexa, and EOS, under the supervision of the Radiology Director and Manager.
Responsibilities
- Operate radiology equipment accurately to ensure proper imaging and diagnosis.
- Document patient history, verify physician orders, and communicate technical information effectively.
- Supervise and instruct radiology students during exams and procedures.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and departmental policies, including radiation safety and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper patient identification and provide age-appropriate care.
- Utilize hospital information systems correctly, manage exam workflows, and maintain timely documentation.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and excellent customer service aligned with hospital standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Radiology Technology program; registry eligible required.
- Minimum two years radiology experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification, ARRT-R Radiography license, and state-specific licenses.
- Physical ability to lift 100+ pounds, move patients, and stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, infection control, and age-specific patient care.
